Director Craig Gillespie re-teamed with Peter Nashel (I,Tonya) to find an authentic musical voice for what was literally a dream project: Score the music for 6 x long form mock “trailers” starring Jessica Alba and Zac Efron, to promote tourism in Dubai.

Each of the films in the campaign mimics a familiar movie trailer genre, and the team wanted the music to do the same. The objective was to make these sound and feel like authentic trailers... This one captures the eclectic spirit of a quirky indie RomCom, with tons of style. It even features original music recorded in Italy, and mixed and finalized in NYC.

Complete with over 10 cues and a 50-piece orchestral record, this project was an amazing creative and technical feat to accomplish mid-pandemic. It recently garnered a slot in the Shoot Top 10, as well as a Silver LIA Award.
