Director: Laurence Dunmore
Shot on location in Ireland with RSA director Laurence Dunmore, this visually striking short film depicts four dapperly dressed friends trekking across the rainy Irish countryside to honor their comrade’s journey to another world (though not the world you might be thinking). The friends raise a glass and sing the hauntingly beautiful Irish folk song ""The Parting Glass"" as they say their goodbyes.
To get the ""Irish True"" effect, OppermanWeiss sent duotone composer Jack Livesey and traditional Irish music expert Eamon O'Leary to a small town south of Dublin to oversee the creative direction of the music, all of which took place in St. Kevin's, the beautiful stone church depicted in the spot.
